Well St. Louis has been out of a track for over a year now and if you have not heard by now. It seems that it has finally found a new group of owner’s a group of investors, led by real estate developer and former professional race car driver Curtis Francois.
Which means were going to be back in action for 2012 in St. louis. There are rumors of Midnight Madness coming back. So if your looking for some cheap night action you have a place to go once again.
The tracks website is still down. But once we hear more on the event’s to come from this year we’ll be sure to let you all know.
Here is some old action from Midnight Madness several years ago from our friend Rion over at RivalHouseGarage.
Midnight Madness is our local monthly night of drifting. Held once a month at Gateway International Raceway, Midnight Madness continues to be one of the largest venues drawing in over 5000 spectators a night and 300+ drivers from all across the St.Louis and surrounding areas.
Activities include:
-Drifting
-Drag racing on the quarter mile with ET’s
-Live music
-Vendors
-Sluts
-Probably some cocaine
-Lots of Budweiser products
-Mustinags….400 MUSTANGS!
Best part about it is, that it’s only $20 for 7 hours of drifting in a safe secure area. Yeah the track is a bit small and layed out with cones and paint, but we have a PA and what else do we need for $20?

long time no update!
Had a blast this season on a stock ass SR20. It meant more driving than last year at least,. so thats cool with me. Planning on even more this next season!
Spun the bearing in this SR20 about a year and half ago. Head was good, found a good block, so made the swap!

Jarrod’s RB25 S13 hatchback should be running soon, and I’m gonna take a whack at getting my 86 coupe running again! Maybe some posts on that soon ^^

It’s been a long 9 months of work on the S14. As of a few weeks ago, the AEM is tuned and produced 507 wheel horsepower uncorrected. Wednesday night, widebody/aero were mounted, finishing up with an alignment on Thursday. The entirety of this project has been a team effort. Thanks to everyone who helped me along they way from wrench time to full on fabrication. Here are a few photos to display the finished car/engine.

All for now. Myself and a bunch of other CF are headed to Nashville, Tennessee for Import Alliance this weekend. I’m excited about my first event of the year and finally driving the Super Speedway roadcourse!

Tomorrow, we’ll get to work on lowering the front, and banging the exhaust around so it doesn’t drag the ground too much.
This coming weekend is Import Alliance in Nashville, time to go hit the road course again! Hell yeah! There will be several CF cars, and even more dudes, so come say hi!
