From a recent DriftMechaniks private day. Get to know my friend Eugene… REALLY WELL.

Got updates for days since the last time I’ve posted. This car and I have been back and forth to hell and back at least 3 times this past year,. and somewhere in the middle as we speak.
Until I get a complete update written up,.. Here is the latest quick edit from MDU Rd.2 at Gateway Motorsports Park

Got some new shoes for the miata this week. They’re STR 512s in 15×8+0. With a bit of convincing via a big-ass hammer, the car’s able to drive, but it could still use a proper fender rolling.
I like ’em!
You can also see ’em in a 180 degree view here!
And then, as if the internet still cared about blogs, I came back and started posting again.
As some of you (as if there are any of you that will still read this) may know, I live in Atlanta now. Recently, our friend Jarrod has moved down as well. Also, as part of my feeble attempt to actually enjoy cars again, I have acquired another miata. It has the same seat as my old white miata, it has a torsen diff, and I bought BC coilovers for it; so it’s pretty much the same as my old one, and it’s amazing!
Jarrod texted me today to see what was going on, and I told him we should go hit some mountain roads up since it was raining, so there would be little traffic, and little traction.. pretty much the perfect time to go. So we grabbed some food and headed off to see these beautiful roads.
(I know it’s the same spot, go to hell)
After putting the butt out around a couple of corners, we got to a nice little rest area spot, and I took some more friggin’ pictures.
After that we went and drove the most technical road that I knew of, then stopped off at a lake to look around. We’ll probably come back to this spot for a cook-out sometime soon, because I scoped out a nice pavilion across the lake.
After that, the roads started getting a little too residential for my liking, so we headed back from whence we came, and took a little video.
So yeah, blogs, woo!

So,..lets update.
Got the car back from Nocturnal Motorworks. Omars and Dan are bauce,……obviously. Been putting plenty of workseshs in since.
This is what alot of my nights actually looked like tho. Little to no light, headphones,. and alot of just, putting things back together.
Had Omar make me a place to put all my thaangs!
Pretty simplistic is what I was going for,. and as far as random accessories go,. this is all I need. Kill switch, Boost Controller, Defi-Link Control Unit. Will end up being textured and painted black to go with the interior better
Got everything thing together-enough to start pulling it out of the garage, and start working in some day light
Oh yeah, did I mention,..shit runs!! Perfectly Awesome. Still need to get some holes plasma’d in the enginebay, couple random brackets made, and come up with a way to run my dump for the wastegate….aand maybe a couple other things.
Interiors’ getting there. Havent tapped into the tach wire yet to have the Defi work, so I put my old cluster back in just to be sure and watch RPM’s temp and gas levels while I iron things out.
Started putting the front end back together. Was a tight fit with the midmount and new intercooler piping. Pretty crazy to see it coming back together again tho!
Tested to verify that Beastmode still works…..fuck yeah!
…and thats pretty much how she sits at the moment.

I’ve been driving my 86 around for the past week, yay!
The 4AGZE now has new rod bearings, and sounds great! I’m still babying it to break in the bearings, but I’m over halfway through the break in. I can’t friggin’ wait to be able to get on it and actually use the supercharger!
This thing just might get driven at my next event instead of the S14 ^^

I was lucky enough to get to see and hear a friggin’ 767B yesterday. Ugggh, so good! It’s one of my favorite cars, ever.
Thanks to Paul @ MazMart for organizing the event!
