Rob went and did another drift event in Mineral Wells, TX this weekend. His Chaser has been in Fort Worth ever since we went a couple months back, because the truck that was being used to tow it down there broke, whoops!

MDU Rd. 1 was this weekend in Lousville, KY.. Wait, it was across the river from Louisville.. in… Indiana? Hell I dunno, but I made it and killed some tires!
Matthew Zick was nice enough to come out and get some badass pics, so let’s check ’em out!
FACT: I can’t have nice things! I ended up hitting the wall in practice, but the car drove fine, so I managed to qualify and get into the top 16, haha!
In my lead run, I got totally phased running against Nick in the Track One S14.5, so that brought a quick end to my competition.
Jake, another zenki S14 dude drove down from Michigan!
And Brian Peter came from Wisconsin! There were tons of drivers who drove really far for the event.
Chris Gonzalez came from friggin’ Canada! I guess MDU is really blowing up!
Tom, or T Diddy pictured here in the black coupe made it into the Top 8 on a stock KA! He’s such a consistent driver!
Magic Mike Pollard came out, and ended up running the competition in Chris Naujokas’s S13.5, Mike ended up getting 3rd.
Derek was out in his blue FD RX7. I could not get over how amazing this car looked and sounded!
Kris Hackenson tapped the wall several times, he must have been busy putting that new body kit back on over and over, haha!
It all paid off, though, as he took home 1st place! He and Nick went at it as if their lives depended on it!
Everybody was super stoked when Kris passed the finish line, kept his foot down, and put the side of his car into the wall. It was a very rock star way to finish the day. Kris hobbled the car back to the staging area, jumped up on the car, and shot his signature nipple lasers into the air in celebration, and it was awesome XD
Congrats to Kris, can’t wait to see everybody again soon!

Ran into a group of cool dudes while at the event last week, one of those dudes being Sy. He not only let me buy a spare set of tie rods off of him when I bent one of mine, but it turns out he also takes badass pictures!
This first one is of the CF pits. My pink S14, Andrey’s RB25 S14, and Rob’s JZX90 Chaser.
Now they get a little more artsy ^^ This is Aaren Smith’s Driftstang. This car looks soooo good sideways!

Maybe the prettiest picture of the S14 I’ve seen! Wow!
Ryan Tuerck and Tony Angelo of Drift Alliance were there too, giving the other drivers some instruction. Ryan’s 2JZ S13 is super mean, I think he did a burnout in this thing all the way up to the initiation point, haha!
Last but definitely not least; you definitely don’t see this everyday, especially in the US. If memory serves me, this Volvo wagon was powered by a Chevy small block, and it looked amaaaaazing getting way too much angle, and pulling out of it with all those torques!! So much fun to watch!

So, here’s what we’ve been up to.
Mineral Wells was really fun, despite every car involved in the trip breaking in some way. Hell, even my Accord, that was hauling wheels and tires, blew a tire.
More Mineral Wells stuff from other dudes to come super soon, before they get mad at me for not posting it yet, haha!

took a trip down to nashville last weekend with domi and nate to hang out with the team rowdy/driftmechaniks dudes at nashville superspeedway for driftoberfest, hosted by tennessee drift.
tyler was busy getting his newly painted coupe dirty. this is probably the coolest goof shot i’ve ever seen, haha.
andy was tearing up the track as usual. i even got to take a few runs with him, it was really fun ^^
axel, our friend from germany was visiting, too, and was driving andy’s car in the other run group. he’s very familiar with german cars, and had no problem throwing the old girl around.
byron blissfully blasted his brown beauty about the beat path.
while others’ attention was drawn to my own brown beast. my daily driver, haha. we were pretending that it was a show car
like usual at events, there was lots of skateboarding going on in the pits, here i am doing a 180 off of another rolling skateboard, just goofing around.
and shawn and alex took a joy ride in patrick’s fc3s.
we even got to meet a nice shiba! his name is kai, which was short for something else that stood for fire tail in japanese, i think..
kai was saying,” おなかがついた！” but there weren’t any treats for him x__x
nothing better than driving 5 hours both ways to hang out with friends, haha! axel and martin, so glad i got to meet you dudes, too!
